Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has praised his players for producing their "best performance of the season" after they claimed a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace this afternoon.
The Foxes have enjoyed a dream start to their debut season in the Champions League, winning all three of their matches to date, but have had topsy-turvy form in the Premier League.
Ranieri's charges were back to winning ways at the King Power on Saturday, however, as goals from Ahmed Musa, Shinji Okazaki and Christian Fuchs handed them all three points.
"I feel good. For the first 20 minutes I felt not so good but after that we started to play our pressing, fast football against a very good team," Ranieri told reporters at his post-match press conference.
"That was our best performance so far this season. It was the shape and model of last season and we concentrated on doing our job. We knew our weaknesses but also strengths.
"I know what Shinji Okazaki can do. He is a worker and he links well with the midfield. Ahmed Musa is slowly understanding the Premier League tempo and he is now ready."
Leicester, who are now up to 12th in the table, next face a tough trip to title contenders Tottenham Hotspur next weekend.
