Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Wesley Fofana is back in the matchday squad this week to face Rennes.
The Foxes take a 2-0 lead into the Europa Conference League second leg match, and they have received an injury boost as the defender will be making his return to the group.
The 21-year-old has been out of action for the entire campaign after suffering a broken leg and ligament damage during their pre-season match against Villarreal.
"Wesley Fofana will come into the squad, which is great news. We will have a look at him in our final session and we will see if he can get some minutes. Hopefully, Wesley will be able to play some part," Rodgers told the press.
"Between now and the end of the season, it is building him back up. He will have a big contribution to make for us but we have to tread carefully with him, and get him through to the end of the season."
Fofana has been back training for several weeks with the club, but has yet to make an official appearance on the pitch.
