Leicester City defender Danny Simpson has insisted that he and his teammates are in good spirits ahead of tonight's trip to Manchester City.
The Premier League's bottom-placed club earned a valuable point in their fight for survival last time out as they drew 2-2 with Everton at Goodison Park.
Despite conceding a late equaliser in that game, Simpson claims that Leicester's performance on Merseyside has given the players confidence as they prepare to face the champions.
"It was a boost for us to know that we can go away from home against big teams, perform and know that we can win," he told the club's official website. "We were close to winning. It's no different going to Manchester City. The manager wants us to win every game and this will be the same.
"You don't want to be unlucky, you want to win. We want to play good football and put in good performances, but it's getting to that time now where we need more to win and put points on the board."
Leicester head to the Etihad Stadium on a five-game winless run in the Premier League.
