Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has been named the Barclays Premier League Player of the Season.
The 29-year-old has been pivotal in the Foxes' surprise title win as he has scored 24 goals this season, just one fewer than the league's leading scorer Harry Kane.
Vardy also holds the record of scoring in 11 consecutive top-flight games, beating Ruud van Nistelrooy's 10-game record, which he set while at Manchester United.
It is the second award that Vardy has scooped in 11 days as he was also named the Football Writers' Association's Footballer of the Year.
Leicester lifted the league trophy last weekend, marking the first time that the club have won a top-flight title in their 132-year history.
