Nathan Dyer marked his Leicester City debut with a stoppage-time winner as the Foxes came from two down to beat Aston Villa 3-2 in a pulsating clash this evening.

Two stunners from Jack Grealish and Carles Gil had the visitors leading 2-0 after the hour mark, before Ritchie de Laet reduced the arrears on 72 minutes.

Jamie Vardy then levelled up on 82 minutes, before Dyer headed home to send the King Power Stadium into meltdown.

Goal

Kasper Schmeichel: Such was the quality of the strikes, the Dane was effectively powerless to prevent any of them. Did not do much wrong. (6/10)

Defence

Ritchie De Laet: Like so many of Leicester's players, improved greatly after the break following a dodgy first half and laid the foundations for the comeback by reducing the arrears. (7/10)

Robert Huth: If Sinclair was anonymous it was because the big German defender forced him to be. The in-form Villa forward barely saw the ball throughout the 90 minutes. (7/10)

Wes Morgan: Occasionally struggled with the pace of Agbonlahor but improved as time wore on. Could have been closer to the Villa man when he set up Gil for the second, though. (6/10)

Jeffrey Schlupp: Superb second half as he targeted Bacuna time and time again in a spate of attacks that will likely scar the right-back for a while. (7/10)

Midfield

Riyad Mahrez: Fairly quiet first half but enjoyed a hugely improved second period. He bagged two assists but his performance cannot be measured by stats. Exceptional second-half display. Leicester will do well to hang on to him beyond January. (8/10)

Danny Drinkwater: Came close with a few rasping efforts and delivered a fine cross for Vardy's equaliser. (6/10)

Gokhan Inler: Brought a big reputation with him to the King Power but did not remotely look anything like the player he is, producing a lukewarm full debut it has to be said. (5/10)

Marc Albrighton: Had some good moments but overall failed to do much against his former club, after Tim Sherwood said that Villa were wrong to let him go. (5/10)

Attack

Shinji Okazaki: Was clattered by Lescott in the opening 30 seconds, and took a while to get back to his feet in a moment which summed up his day. Subbed at the break. (4/10)

Jamie Vardy: Frustrating evening for the England international, who had little to no chances, but saw a stonewall penalty appeal go against him after the break. (5/10)

Substitutes

Nathan Dyer: Subbed on at half time and became an instant hero by showing tremendous courage to head home that last-minute winner. (7/10)

N'golo Kante: Replaced Inler and instantly improved Leicester's midfield. (7/10)

Goal

Brad Guzan: Blameless for the first two goals, but the American was questionable in his decision to leave his line and try to claim the ball that Dyer headed home late on. (5/10)

Defence

Leandro Bacuna: Okay first-half performance but the right-back was ripped to shreds by Schlupp after the break. He was lucky not to concede a penalty moments before the goal, for which he lost the run of De Laet. (5/10)

Micah Richards: Superb for 80 minutes but, like most of his teammates, capitulated and could have done better for Vardy's goal. (6/10)

Joleon Lescott: Enjoyed a solid first 45 minutes as a Villa player against the lifeless Okazaki, but struggled at times after the break. (5/10)

Jordan Amavi: Excellent first half as he got forward at every opportunity but, not for the first time this season, looked rather suspect defensively. (5/10)

Midfield

Jack Grealish: Opened the scoring with a fine goal that justified his promise but struggled for the same influence after the break and saw much less of the ball. (7/10)

Carles Gil: Superb second goal on his first Villa start since February but did not track back well enough, offering very little support for the under-siege Bacuna. (6/10)

Carlos Sanchez: Struggled against Mahrez in the second half but many of his woes were self-inflicted after allowing the Algerian far too much time and space in which to hurt Leicester. (5/10)

Ashley Westwood: Shielded his defence well in the first half but that element of his game became less and less frequent as Mahrez ran riot. (5/10)

Attack

Scott Sinclair: Virtually anonymous in both halves but should have opened the scoring when he prodded Agbonlahor's excellent ball into the side netting early on. (4/10)

Gabriel Agbonlahor: Lively opening as he bid to justify his selection following a rough start to the season, but ultimately failed. (5/10)

Substitutes

Jordan Ayew: Failed to influence things whatsoever. (4/10)

Rudy Gestede : Had plenty of time in which to make an impact but struggled. (4/10)
