Sports Mole looks at how Leicester City could line up next season if they manage to bring West Ham United forward Jarrod Bowen to the King Power Stadium.

Leicester United have reportedly joined the race for West Ham United attacker Jarrod Bowen, but face competition from the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

Potentially boasting the advantage of being able to offer the former Hull City man guaranteed first-team football from the outset, Brendan Rodgers's side are said to be preparing a bid for the January transfer window.

With their biggest weakness arguably being depth in the wide areas, Rodgers could set his sights on Bowen as his top priority heading into the second half of the season, as they push for another top-six finish in the Premier League and a good run in the Europa League.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Leicester City could line up if they manage to bring Jarrod Bowen to the King Power Stadium.

While there will be plenty of rotation with a hectic Premier League and Europa League schedule, at full strength, Bowen will likely come into a front three on the right-hand side, offering support to veteran forward Jamie Vardy, who has netted 121 goals and provided 44 assists in 250 Premier League appearances for the Foxes, while Kelechi Iheanacho and summer signing Patson Daka offer additional pace and threat from the bench.

Harvey Barnes should operate on the other flank, giving Rodgers's side impressive ability on both wings, while James Maddison will hope to establish a run of form to cement his spot in the number 10 role, amidst new midfield competition from the likes of Boubakary Soumare and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the Leicester squad.

Further back, Youri Tielemans and anchor man Wilfred Ndidi are almost certain starters, with their respective games complementing one another in the engine room, as Ndidi provides a shield to the defence while the Belgian international joins the dynamic front four with positive runs and a slick range of passing.

By the time the January transfer window rolls around, Rodgers will hope to see full-back James Justin and centre-back Wesley Fofana well on the way to recovery from injuries and both should play key roles in the Foxes' back line for years to come, with Fofana hugely impressive in his first season in the English top flight last time around.

He will likely be joined by Jonny Evans in the strongest side, while Rodgers has the option of introducing Caglar Soyuncu for rotation, or as a tactical decision when a game suits a back three.

After continued injury issues of his own, Ricardo Pereira will look to re-establish a cemented spot in the starting XI, with the right-back boasting one of the most well-rounded skill sets in the league for his position, offering a fantastic asset to the Midlands club.

Despite reaching the age of 34 years old, goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel shows no signs of letting up and remains a key leader at the King Power Stadium, with that not expected to change in the near future. body check tags ::
