Leicester City defender Ritchie De Laet has insisted that his side can still avoid relegation this season.
The Foxes fell to a second consecutive Premier League defeat yesterday as Manchester United exacted revenge for Leicester's 5-3 triumph in the reverse fixture with a 3-1 victory at Old Trafford.
The result left Nigel Pearson's side still rooted to the bottom of the table, three points from safety, but De Laet is confident that they can maintain their top-flight status for another season at least.
"The United game was a bonus game, no one was expecting us to take anything from it," he told reporters.
"But our confidence is still high. I think we can get out of it. You just have to look at the last five performances. We have had three wins out of them so we know we can give teams a good game.
"We still have everyone to play around us and those are the important games."
Leicester's next match comes at home to Crystal Palace, before games against Arsenal, Everton, Chelsea and Manchester City.
