Leicester City midfielder Harvey Barnes has signed a new deal at the club and will spend next season on loan at West Bromwich Albion.
Barnes was left out of City's squad for their pre-season friendly against Notts County, before tweeting an hourglass and a football emoji, which increased speculation around his future.
However, the Englishman has pledged his loyalty to his boyhood club by penning a new four-year contract at the King Power Stadium.
Barnes will gain more minutes on the pitch with the relegated Baggies next season, as the Leicester academy prospect eyes up a future place in Claude Puel's squad.
The 20-year-old spent the first half of last season loaned out to Barnsley, scoring five goals, before returning to his parent club in January.
