Former England striker Emile Heskey has admitted that he would rejoin Leicester City as a player if he were approached by the Premier League outfit.
The 36-year-old, who has also played for Liverpool and Aston Villa, has already taken up an ambassadorial role with the Foxes since returning to England following two years in Australia's A-League with the Newcastle Jets.
Heskey told BBC Radio Leicester: "It goes without saying, I'd love to come. It is a great club that allowed me to get to the platform that I got to.
"I was an England international when I was with Leicester so that was a great achievement."
Heskey scored 46 goals in 196 games for the East Midlands club between 1994 and 2000.
