Leicester City are battling out with Brentford to try and sign Shakhtar Dontesk's Tete, according to a report.
FIFA have recently revealed that players in Ukraine and Russia are available to leave their respective teams on loan due to the ongoing war leading to football being stopped.
The Brazilian international is hoping to terminate his current deal, and he is hoping to make a permanent move away from the club, which has gained interest from certain teams.
According to the Daily Mail, Leicester and Brentford are both interested in signing Tete, and they are exploring whether or not it would be possible to bring him in right now.
The 22-year-old had made 17 appearances in the league this season, scoring nine times, while he also featured heavily in Europe for Shakhtar, playing 10 times in the Champions League.
It is currently yet to be decided by the English top flight as to whether or not teams will be able to make permanent signings, or if they will have to wait until the season ends. body check tags ::
