Leicester City are reportedly on the brink of signing Nice midfielder Arnaud Lusamba on a free transfer.
With the Foxes likely to qualify for next season's Champions League, the club are considering ways to strengthen their squad later in 2020.
However, the Daily Mail claims that the East Midlands outfit are already closing in on their first signing.
Leicester are said to have been in discussions to sign Lusamba, who has less than six months remaining on his contract with Nice.
The playmaker, who has previously represented France at Under-19 level, has contributed one goal and two assists in 13 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
The report adds that Brighton & Hove Albion, Crystal Palace and Sporting Lisbon have also been attempting to sign Lusamba.
