Gazelec Ajaccio striker Fousseni Diabate has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Leicester City.
The Foxes are well stocked for forwards, with Jamie Vardy, Kelechi Iheanacho, Islam Slimani and Leonardo Ulloa all providing options for manager Claude Puel.
However, according to his agent, Leicester have started negotiations with the Ligue 2 outfit over a potential transfer in January.
Yacine Ayad told L'Equipe: "Leicester have started discussions between the clubs for Fousseni, but at this stage, there is nothing yet done so much.
"Gazelec have received other offers from Ligue 1 and abroad in the past few days."
Diabate has scored three goals in French football's second tier during the current campaign.
