Crystal Palace have reportedly signalled their intent to keep Andros Townsend until at least the end of the season.
The Eagles have endured a disastrous start to the Premier League campaign, with no points or goals being recorded from their first seven fixtures.
That has led to speculation over the futures of some of Palace's star men, with Leicester City said to be keen on signing Townsend during the January transfer window.
However, according to The Independent, Palace will not part ways with any of their key players - which includes Townsend - midway through the campaign.
The 26-year-old has contributed just three goals from 49 appearances in all competitions since joining for £13m in July 2016, but manager Roy Hodgson is eager to keep the England international at Selhurst Park.
Palace are next in action when they host Premier League champions Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.
