Jamie Vardy is reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract at Leicester City worth £60,000 a week.
The Premier League's leading scorer, who has netted 16 top-flight goals so far, has been linked with big-money moves to Manchester United and Chelsea.
However, the 29-year-old, who is the first player to have scored in 11 consecutive Premier League games, is keen to pen fresh terms with the Foxes.
According to the Daily Mail, Vardy will sign a new three-and-a-half-year contract, which is expected to increase his current £40,000-a-week wage packet by £20,000.
The former non-League player signed a long-term deal in 2014, but Leicester are keen to tie down the forward following his impressive form that has helped the team to the top of the table after 23 games.
