Lille have completed the signing of Marvin Martin from fellow French club Sochaux.
The winger, who has a agreed a five-year deal with the 2011 champions, is believed to have commanded a transfer fee of around £7.5m.
Discussing his switch, the 24-year-old revealed that he opted for Lille because they matched his ambitions.
"I am very happy," Martin told the club's official website. "I wanted to sign for Lille because they are an ambitious club I have been interested in for a long time.
"You can talk about a real choice here, and I hope from all my heart that everything will go well."
Martin is currently part of the France squad that is preparing to take on Spain in the quarter-finals of Euro 2012.
