Former Rennes manager Frederic Antonetti has reportedly spoken to Lille about their vacant managerial post.
OSC have been without a head coach since ex-Ivory Coast boss Herve Renard was sacked before the international break.
According to L'Equipe, the 54-year-old has met with the club's hierarchy this week.
However, Lille president Michel Seydoux is also believed to have discussed the position with several other candidates in Paris on Thursday.
Antonetti stood down as Rennes coach in 2013, after four years in charge.
