Lille produced an efficient performance tonight to defeat Ajaccio in Ligue 1.
Lille started brightest with Mathieu Debuchy, and then Benoit Pedretti, missing the target inside the first 10 minutes.
The game became a little scrappy but Lille were still creating most of the chances, with Idrissa Gana Gueye also shooting wide.
Lille were finally ahead when Debuchy crossed for Nolan Roux to head home just three minutes before the break.
Then in the 56th minute Lille looked to have put the game beyond doubt when Ryan Mendes struck to make it 2-0.
However, that was to be the end of the scoring as Lille ran out 2-0 winners.
