Luis Suarez (Liverpool)
A player whose time in the Premier League was relatively brief, Luis Suarez nonetheless provided arguably the greatest individual season in the competition's history before leaving Liverpool for Barcelona.
The Reds ultimately fell short of ending their top-flight title drought in 2013-14, but without Suarez they would have been nowhere near the summit - as was proven when the Uruguayan left at the end of the campaign.
Suarez scored 31 goals in just 33 Premier League games that season, earning him the PFA, FWA and Premier League Player of the Season awards, in addition to both the domestic and European Golden Boots.
As controversial as he was deadly, Suarez was also prolific in the 2012-13 campaign with 23 goals in the league and 30 across all competitions despite another trophiless season for the Reds.
The Uruguay international left Liverpool having scored 82 goals in 133 appearances for the club, 69 of which came in 110 Premier League outings.
