Jurgen Klopp has urged Liverpool to improve their home form in order to achieve success this season.
While the Reds won 3-1 at Chelsea and beat Manchester City 4-1 away from home, they have registered just two league wins at Anfield all season.
In his pre-match programme notes before Liverpool's Europa League tie with Bordeaux tonight, Klopp said that it is "absolutely crucial" that their home form picks up.
He wrote: "We have beaten Chelsea and Manchester City at their home grounds and now the big challenge for us, as a group, is to produce the same here.
"Anfield is a special place and we need to make sure it is a place where we play our best football and get our best results.
"If we are to be successful and achieve what we want, this will be absolutely crucial. There is no reason we cannot do this and I'm really pleased we are back home tonight and again at the weekend to give us these chances."
Liverpool will move to the top of Group B with victory over Bordeaux this evening.
