Manchester City will be looking to land their fourth domestic trophy of 2019 when they face Liverpool in the Community Shield this weekend.
City won the Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup last season and are once again expected to be the team to beat in the new campaign.
Pep Guardiola's side have won three of their four friendlies this summer, the last of which was a 3-1 success over Yokohama F Marinos last weekend.
Meanwhile, the Citizens will open their 2019-20 Premier League campaign away to West Ham United on August 10.
Here, Sports Mole looks at how the English champions could line up when they take to the field on Sunday afternoon.
Out: Benjamin Mendy (knee)
Doubtful: Fernandinho (knee)
City have had a relatively quiet transfer window, but Rodri became the club's record signing earlier this summer. The 23-year-old has impressed during pre-season and is expected to get the nod in central midfield this weekend.
The likes of Ederson and Sergio Aguero should also start, having linked up with the squad following their involvement in the Copa America.
Angelino is an option for the left-back spot having been re-signed from PSV Eindhoven, although it seems likely that Oleksandr Zinchenko will start in that position, with John Stones alongside Aymeric Laporte in central defence following Vincent Kompany's departure.
David Silva, Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling are also expected to make the XI, but Leroy Sane could be left out altogether as the speculation surrounding the Germany international's future continues to gather pace.
Benjamin Mendy is City's only confirmed absentee for the contest with the Frenchman struggling to overcome a knee problem, although experienced midfielder Fernandinho is also a doubt this weekend.
