Mohamed Salah became Liverpool's leading Premier League goalscorer on Sunday, helping himself to a brace in the Reds' 7-0 humiliation of bitter rivals Manchester United at Anfield.

The Egyptian winger slammed home Premier League goal number 128 for Liverpool with a brilliant right-footed half-volley from the edge of the box to make it 4-0 on the night, equalling Robbie Fowler's tally of goals for the club in the competition in the process.

Salah then surpassed the man known as 'God' by Liverpool fans to make it 6-0 on a historic night at Anfield, moving out on his own in the Merseyside club's scoring ranks in the competition.

Including two goals from his time at Chelsea, Salah now has 131 Premier League strikes in total, leaving him 15th in the all-time list and fast closing in on Leicester City's Jamie Vardy.
