Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge will reportedly fly to Boston today to undergo more treatment amid his recent injury woes.
The 25-year-old has not played since early September and has spent some time on the West Coast of the United States for rehabilitation.
Sturridge initially suffered a thigh injury in England training, but was dealt a double setback when he picked up a calf strain and thigh muscle tear on separate occasions.
According to The Independent, Sturridge will jet out to the States with Liverpool's head of performance Glen Driscoll today to undergo treatment from the medical department used by the Boston Red Sox baseball team, whose owners Fenway Sports Group also own the Premier League club.
The aim of the trip is to speed up Sturridge's recovery as Liverpool continue struggling to find form.
