Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Liverpool on Friday, December 4.

The summer transfer window has now closed and attention will begin to turn to January for Premier League champions Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp's side brought in Thiago Alcantara, Diogo Jota and Kostas Tsimikas during the summer, making for one of their busier transfer windows in the last couple of years.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Anfield.

Friday morning's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup:

AC Milan to rival Liverpool for Ozan Kabak?

AC Milan have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race for Schalke 04 defender Ozan Kabak.

The 20-year-old has only made 32 appearances for his current club since arriving from Galatasaray in July 2019 but is already being linked with an exit.

Liverpool are believed to be interested in the Turkey international, with the Reds expected to enter the winter transfer market for a new centre-back due to their injury issues in that area of the field.

However, according to Calciomercato, Milan are also keen on Kabak, who is said to be valued by his Bundesliga club in the region of €20m (£18m).

The report claims that the Italian giants are reluctant to pay more than €15m (£13.6m) but could include a series of add-ons in order to move closer to Schalke's asking price.

Kabak has made four Bundesliga appearances during the 2020-21 campaign.

Perr Schuurs responds to Liverpool transfer speculation

Perr Schuurs has insisted that he is not currently thinking about leaving Ajax amid rumours that Liverpool want to sign him during the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old has made 14 appearances for his Dutch club this season, including both Champions League matches against Jurgen Klopp's side.

A recent report claimed that the Reds are lining up a £27m offer for the centre-back, who has a contract in Amsterdam until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.

However, Schuurs has revealed that he wants to play at Ajax "for a few more seasons".

"I hear and read [Liverpool rumours] too," Schuurs told SBS6. "It's my first season as a regular at Ajax. I want to play here for a few more seasons and win prizes. I'm not really working on that yet."

The Netherlands Under-21s international has made 35 first-team appearances for Erik ten Hag's side.
