Sunday morning's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup:
Brighton & Hove Albion 'in pole position to sign Adam Lallana'
Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly leading the race to sign Adam Lallana on a free transfer.
The 32-year-old is leaving Liverpool after six years at the club, with his contract at Anfield due to expire following Sunday's Premier League clash against Newcastle United.
A number of teams have been credited with an interest in the Englishman, who has scored once and provided one assist in 15 Premier League appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side this term.
However, according to The Independent, Brighton, who finish their season at Burnley on Sunday, are in pole position to sign the attacker on a free transfer.
The report claims that the Seagulls want Lallana to play a key role in 'furthering their tactical development', with Graham Potter's side set to make him 'a leader at the club'.
Lallana's preference is allegedly to return to the South Coast, meanwhile, having made the breakthrough at Southampton before arriving for Liverpool.
The attacker has scored 22 goals and registered 22 assists in 178 outings for the Reds.
Napoli agree fee for Liverpool, Arsenal target Victor Osimhen?
Napoli have agreed an initial €60m (£54.67m) fee with Lille for rumoured Liverpool and Arsenal target Victor Osimhen, according to a report.
The 21-year-old scored 13 goals in 27 Ligue 1 games in 2019-20 to earn links with a number of heavyweight clubs across the continent.
Serie A side Napoli have long been considered the favourites to sign Osimhen, however, and The Guardian suggests that an agreement is now in place with Lille.
Various performance-related add-ons have been included in the deal, it is claimed, which could see the fee climb to €81m (£73.81m).
Osimhen's arrival at Stadio San Paolo is expected to pave the way for Arkadiusz Milik - linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus - to move on later this summer.
