The Italian FA inform Liverpool that striker Fabio Borini has fractured a bone in his right foot.

The Italian Football Association have informed Liverpool that striker Fabio Borini has fractured a bone in his right foot.

Borini had been on international duty with the Italian Under-21 side ahead of their European Championship playoff against Sweden.

It has not been announced how long the forward will be out of action for.

Borini has scored one goal in ten games for Liverpool following a £10.5m move from Roma over the summer.
