Jamie Carragher has labelled Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker the best in the world in his position.
The 27-year-old Brazilian has kept nine clean sheets in his last 10 games, with the latest coming in Saturday's 1-0 victory over relegation-threatened Norwich City.
In the game, the former Roma stopper made an excellent save to stop Finnish striker Teemu Pukki from opening the scoring.
Speaking to Sky Sports News after the game, the former Reds defender said: "Liverpool have got the best goalkeeper in the world. He shows it yet again.
"This season he's elevated himself to the number one goalkeeper in the world. If you look at Liverpool's defensive record, how often he saves big chances.
"We always talk about Virgil van Dijk's impact on this team, it's been colossal. Alisson is exactly the same."
Alisson will be expected to be on top form on Tuesday when Liverpool resume the defence of their Champions League title away to Atletico Madrid.
