Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes that he still has a future with the Reds, despite losing his spot as a first-team regular.
The 34-year-old centre-back replaced Daniel Agger in the 86th minute of normal time during the Reds' Carling Cup final victory over Cardiff City at Wembley yesterday.
When asked if the Carling Cup post-match celebrations were the start of a final farewell, Carragher told a Sky Sports News reporter: "No, I don't think so. Who are you? Are you the manager?
"It is great for the supporters. Nothing beats this, celebrating at the end with the fans.
"It has probably been too long since we've done it, so hopefully this will be the first of many more to come."
Liverpool are in the fight for fourth place in the Premier League and remain in contention for the FA Cup.
