West Ham United striker Andy Carroll has insisted that he does not harbour any ill-feeling towards former club Liverpool.
Carroll, whose season has been disrupted by injuries, refuses to blame anyone at Anfield for the disappointing period he spent at the club after joining from Newcastle for £35m in January 2011.
"There's no bitterness at all," the 25-year-old told reporters ahead of the meeting between Liverpool and the Hammers on Sunday. "I joined West Ham and apart from the injury setbacks, I'm loving it.
"Everything has been great and I'm feeling very good, just getting into the stride of things again.
"It's been a frustrating season and tough at the beginning because nobody expected me to be out for as long as I was but I don't really want to talk about that."
West Ham signed Carroll on a permanent deal for a reported £15m last summer.
