Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has reportedly flown to the United States to discuss his future with the club's owners, Fenway Sports Group.
It had been suggested that principal owner John Henry could sack Dalglish following the club's poor season in the Premier League where they finished eighth, despite the fact that the club secured the Carling Cup.
The owners are understood to be unhappy at the failure to close the gap on the top four, according to The Telegraph, and his future will be decided in an end-of-season review.
Dalglish's situation is likely to become clearer over the next few days.
