Former Liverpool playmaker Luis Garcia has urged patience with new signing Roberto Firmino.
Firmino joined the Reds from Hoffenheim earlier in the summer in a deal that could rise to around £29m, but Garcia, who won the 2005 Champions League with the club, believes that it will take time for the Brazil international to adjust to the Premier League.
The Spaniard told the Liverpool Echo: "It's not easy to come into the Premier League and adapt.
"I think that he's a very good player but you have to give him time to adapt to the pace of the game, to the players, the different situations in games.
"He's a player that wants to do things to change games, like Coutinho does at the moment."
Liverpool travel to Manchester United after the international break.
