Steven Gerrard is reportedly considering whether to accept the managerial vacancy at League One side MK Dons having been offered the post this weekend.
The Liverpool legend, 36, this week announced his decision to leave MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy at the end of the season following an 18-month stint in California.
Gerrard is thought to have been given a number of options both on and off the field, including a reunion with former Reds manager Brendan Rodgers at Scottish champions Celtic.
According to Sky Sports News, third-tier strugglers MK Dons have approached Gerrard about taking over at the club following Karl Robinson's departure last month.
Dons chairman Pete Winkelman has a history of taking a chance on less experienced managers, having appointed Robinson as boss when he was just 29.
Gerrard will reportedly consider the offer over the weekend and make a final decision on Monday.
