Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has declared himself ready for his final Anfield appearance this evening.
After 17 years with the Reds, Gerrard will leave for Los Angeles Galaxy in the summer, and the long-serving skipper said that he is "in the zone" ahead of the visit from Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace.
He told Sky Sports News: "I'm finally in the zone, it's been a busy week, but now it's down to the team and we need to try and get three points and have a good send-off.
"All I can ask for is three points. Everyone knows I'll be trying to get on the scoresheet today. Who is on the penalties? Me!"
The 34-year-old former England captain has won two FA Cups, a UEFA Cup, the Champions League and three League Cups during his time with the Reds.
