Italy manager Antonio Conte has revealed that he is open to the possibility of Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli returning to the international fold.
The former AC Milan forward has struggled with consistency since joining the Reds, but the Azzurri coach insists that the door remains open to him.
"The doors of the Nazionale are open to everyone who shows during their performances that they know what the Italy jersey represents and what it requires," Conte told reporters following Italy's 1-1 draw with England.
"I hope Balotelli can give Liverpool significant support and play more often. If this should happen, then the doors are open for the Nazionale."
Conte also offered the same assurances to Sebastian Giovinco of Toronto FC and Dani Osvaldo, who is on loan with Argentinian side Boca Juniors.
