Former Liverpool midfielder Jan Molby has talked up captain Jordan Henderson's importance to the team.
Henderson has started every Premier League game for Liverpool so far this season, helping the Reds to the top of the table after 11 games.
The likes of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane have stolen many of the headlines for Jurgen Klopp's side so far, but Molby was keen to highlight Henderson's role.
"The season we nearly won the league [in 2013-14], I thought Jordan had a fantastic campaign playing in a different role, where we saw him making driving runs from deep and getting into the box," he told the club's official website.
"Now he has more of a responsible role as he is the man people look for when they are in trouble. He is your out ball and I think he has done very well for us and is an important player in the side."
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last nine league outings and have scored 10 goals in their last two.
