West Ham United winger Matt Jarvis believes that his side are ready to face Liverpool in the Premier League this afternoon.
The Hammers beat Chelsea 3-1 last weekend and Jarvis wants the team to take confidence from that performance ahead of another tough home game.
"The matches are coming thick and fast," he told the club's official website. "We have faced Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Manchester United, and now Liverpool but that is what it's all about.
"We have been working hard again this week to prepare for Liverpool and hopefully we can put in another good performance like we did last weekend."
Jarvis also warned that it would be dangerous to think that Liverpool will provide less of a test due to the absence of Luis Suarez, who is suspended.
He continued: "We all know what a good player Suarez is and how he can turn games, but Liverpool have a lot of good players.
"But we are at home, with our fans backing us in their thousands and we will take confidence from our last few games."
West Ham play Liverpool at 4pm this afternoon.
