Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has backed Brentford to create "something special" in the Premier League this season.
Thomas Frank's side have made a largely positive start to life in the top flight, taking eight points from their opening five fixtures and claiming an impressive home victory over Arsenal on the opening day.
Brentford will pit their wits against Liverpool in Saturday evening's clash, and Klopp has lavished praise on the newly-promoted side and his managerial counterpart Frank.
Speaking to the media during his pre-match press conference, Klopp said: "I watched the press conference of Thomas Frank and it was one of the most entertaining things I've watched in the last few years. They are doing a brilliant job. How they recruit with less money - they can create something special.
"Brentford have a chance against us as it is football. They are well-drilled with the 3-5-2. Everyone is ready to make the extra yard with a new stadium. We know what to expect, it will be a tough one and rightly so. It's just a really important game for us."
Klopp also issued an update on Thiago Alcantara after the midfielder suffered a calf injury during last weekend's clash with Crystal Palace.
