Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has told his players to use their 1-0 League Cup win over Bournemouth as a springboard for beating Chelsea on Saturday.
Nathaniel Clyne scored the only goal of the game at Anfield as the Reds secured their first victory under the German to reach the quarter-final stage.
Next up for Klopp and co is a visit to the struggling Premier League champions, and the 48-year-old wants his troops to bring that winning feeling with them to West London.
"It is very important [to win] because we decided that we will go to this game with a new team, but to win is always a good feeling for the whole team," he told Sky Sports News.
"We now have three days to prepare for Chelsea. We will recover and then prepare for Chelsea, but you saw these guys want, and that is important."
Ninth-placed Liverpool sit three points above the Blues in 15th.
