Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will not leave the club, according to his agent Marc Kosicke.
The Reds won the FA Cup and League Cup last season, and they also went close to winning the Premier League and Champions League in what would have been a historic quadruple.
Following a successful campaign, Liverpool have struggled in the early part of the 2022-23 season, and after 12 games, they sit in ninth place in the Premier League with eight points separating them from the top four.
Speaking before Liverpool's 2-0 Champions League win over Napoli, Kosicke responded to questions over Klopp's future at Anfield.
Kosicke told Sky Deutshcland: "I can assure that Jurgen Klopp is not thinking about resigning from Liverpool.
"The fact that there could be problems this season, due to the past intense season, was also calculated on the part of the club's owners before the start of this season.
"Jurgen enjoys the support of those responsible and is in regular contact with them. He loves the club, the team and the fans, and is determined to drive forward the transformation at Liverpool and bring it to a successful conclusion.
"It's not for nothing that he extended his contract earlier this year until 2026."
Despite beating Napoli at Anfield, Liverpool finished second in their Champions League group, and they will now turn their attention to Sunday's Premier League away game against Tottenham Hotspur. body check tags ::
