Liverpool's new goalkeeper Loris Karius has described manager Jurgen Klopp as "one of the best coaches in the world".
The 22-year-old German will join his new club on July 1 after completing a £4.7m transfer from Mainz 05.
Karius has admitted that the chance to work under Klopp was a major reason behind his decision to sign for the Premier League club.
"He was a big factor, because he is one of the best coaches in the world and has shown how well he brings young players forward," Karius told Bild.
"But there is also the tradition of the club, the atmosphere, which is not so common in the world. And of course, such a transfer leaves you financially improved. All in all, it was the perfect total package."
Karius will challenge number one Simon Mignolet for a spot in the first team.
