Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp describes his team's defending the "biggest rubbish ever" following their dramatic 5-4 win over Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has described moments of his team's defending as the "biggest rubbish ever" following Saturday's dramatic 5-4 victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road.

The Merseyside outfit were 3-1 down in the second half, but goals from Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino drew the team level at 3-3.

James Milner nudged Liverpool ahead 15 minutes from time, and Sebastien Bassong looked to have snatched a point for Norwich within five minutes of additional time.

However, the drama was not done as a game which was full of defensive errors at both ends resulted in triumph for Liverpool as Adam Lallana scored in the dying seconds.

"There was about 70 minutes that were really good," BBC Sport quotes Klopp as saying. "Conceding four goals is in general not good. Conceding from set plays is the biggest rubbish ever because it is too easy for the other team.

"Usually we concede from a corner but now it was from the second ball - we were like rabbits in the headlights, but we won the game in the end."

The Reds are now seventh in the Premier League table, but remain eight points off fourth place.
