Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp: 'Fab-four tag is disrespectful'

Boss Jurgen Klopp claims that describing the club's in-form attacking quartet as the 'fab four' is disrespectful to other members of his first-team squad.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has claimed that describing Liverpool's in-form attacking quartet as the 'fab four' is disrespectful to other members of the first-team squad.

Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino have all made match-winning contributions in recent weeks, with the foursome scoring 24 of Liverpool's last 32 goals in all competitions.

However, Klopp has been quick to praise the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Adam Lallana, who are likely to have a part to play over the next few weeks.

The 50-year-old told reporters: "We have to wait to make a line up. I have no problems with nicknames like 'Fab Four' but it's disrespectful to the other boys.

"We had a fantastic game at West Ham where Oxlade-Chamberlain was involved. We haven't used Lallana yet, all these offensive boys. They are all really good offensive players."

Liverpool head into Sunday's Merseyside derby with Everton sitting in fourth place in the Premier League standings.
