Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted that his players are ready for the season ahead following their heartbreaking end to the last campaign.
The Reds suffered a 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in May's Champions League final, ensuring that they ended 2017-18 without any silverware.
Klopp insists that there are "bigger problems" to contend with than losing in the showpiece final, however, and has no concerns about the mindset of his players heading into Sunday's Premier League opener against West Ham United at Anfield.
"It is no problem. There are bigger problems in life than losing a Champions League final, so we all have bigger problems than losing a Champions League final," he told Sky Sports News.
"We tried everything, it did not happen, so that is all. It is a long time ago and a waste of time having that in your mind. So no problem, we go again."
Liverpool have added four new players to their squad during the off-season, including £67m goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
