Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has claimed that manager Jurgen Klopp has an "abundance of charisma and aura".
The German coach, who replaced Brendan Rodgers in October following seven years at Borussia Dortmund, is known for his desire to get teams playing 'emotional' football.
Lallana, whose career under Rodgers was stop-start due to injuries, has become a regular in the team since Klopp took over.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Lallana said: "He really is brilliant to listen to. He seems to have an off-the-cuff way about him. You can't imagine him sitting in his office preparing a team talk. He just goes with the flow and it's all genuine - 100%.
"The way he describes himself as 'normal' is true. There is no ego but an abundance of charisma and an aura. He means what he says. He'll be your mate but not your best mate. He's not going to go for a pint with us after a match, but he'll call you into the office and have a chat if it's needed."
Since taking over, Klopp has guided the team to six wins and three draws and has overseen just the one defeat in all competitions.
