Adam Lallana has talked up the confidence in the Liverpool squad following their impressive run of form.
The Reds have not lost in the Premier League since mid-December and have seen their good run of form propel them to within five points of the top four of the Premier League table.
Brendan Rodgers's side can close the gap to two with victory against Southampton on Sunday afternoon, and Lallana has said that the mood in the camp is positive.
He told the Liverpool Echo: "We fancy ourselves in any game at the moment. When you are confident, it doesn't matter who you are playing.
"Earlier in the season when you're not playing so well, you look at any fixture as difficult. But when you are playing well you're not worried about the opponents. You go into any game thinking 'we can get a win here'.
"You can't just switch confidence on and off, you kind of build it up and then it comes naturally. I think at the minute we have that in abundance."
Lallana signed for the Reds for around £25m from Southampton in the summer.
