Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has said that facing West Ham United in the FA Cup on Tuesday represents the perfect opportunity for his side to overcome the disappointment of drawing 2-2 with Sunderland.
The Merseyside giants conceded two goals in the final eight minutes on Saturday afternoon as they dropped two more points at Anfield, but Lallana has called on his team to continue to work hard in an attempt to improve their results in all competitions.
The 27-year-old told LFCTV: "It is simple - we must keep working as hard as we have been working or even harder.
"We have another game Tuesday (an FA Cup fourth-round replay at West Ham). As a player the best thing about a disappointing result is getting back on the pitch as soon as possible and putting things right."
Liverpool now sit in ninth place in the Premier League table, 12 points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester City.
