Premier League outfit Liverpool have revealed that they will take on Valerenga in Norway as part of their preparations for the new season.
The Reds will make the trip to Oslo's Ullevaal Stadium on Wednesday, August 7.
"The Norwegian club is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and wanted to secure landmark fixtures, which we are delighted to be part of," Liverpool's chief commercial officer Billy Hogan told the club's official website.
"We last played Valerenga in 2011 and before that in 2008 so we are thrilled to be meeting them again this summer.
"Liverpool FC has a large fan base in Norway and this fixture allows us to bring the club closer to those Norwegian fans that cannot make it to Anfield to see their team play."
Liverpool will also play friendlies in Indonesia, Australia and Thailand this summer.
