The Premier League has today revealed the fixture list for the 2022-23 campaign, which for Liverpool begins away to newly-promoted Fulham.

It will be the fourth season in a row where Liverpool have begun the campaign against a promoted side - the first time that has ever happened in English top-flight history.

Jurgen Klopp's side will take on Crystal Palace in their first home game of the season on the weekend of August 13, before a crunch match against Erik ten Hag's Manchester United at Old Trafford in gameweek three.

The first showdown against defending champions Manchester City comes on the weekend of October 15 at Anfield, just a week after facing Arsenal, while the reverse at the Etihad will be played at the beginning of April.

Liverpool will welcome Man United to Anfield in early March, while the Merseyside derbies against Everton are scheduled for the weekends of September 3 and February 11.

The Reds' final game before the mid-season World Cup break comes at home to Southampton, before resuming their campaign against Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa on December 26.

Liverpool will then face Leicester City on New Year's Eve before travelling to Brentford in their opening game of 2022.

A busy April will see Liverpool face Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in three of their six fixtures, before they end their campaign away to Southampton.
