Centre-back Dejan Lovren has credited manager Jurgen Klopp with instilling a more positive mindset at Liverpool.
Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers in October last year and although he has failed to move Liverpool up towards the Champions League places in the Premier League, the German has led the Reds to the Capital One Cup final and within one win of the Europa League final.
When asked about Klopp's impact, Lovren told reporters: "I think everyone expected it because - and it's not because Jurgen is here next to me! - he is a big manager.
"He showed that previously with Dortmund and with Mainz. He is a positive man and he brings the positive energy to the club.
"Everyone knows that. Like he said in the beginning, [he wants to turn people] from doubters to believers, so next season will be a different thing."
Lovren, who scored the Reds' dramatic winner in the quarter-finals against Borussia Dortmund, is expected to start tomorrow night as Liverpool host Villarreal trailing 1-0 after the first leg.
