Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has insisted that he is not a diver and is enjoying the physical challenge of the Premier League.
The 24-year-old has impressed under Kenny Dalglish since arriving from Ajax in January and is now regarded as one of the Premier League's most talented players.
Although he is often criticised for being overly theatrical under challenges, he claims that he isn't a diver.
"I don't trick anybody," the Uruguayan is quoted as saying in The Sun.
"I have never been a diver - only a forward who receives so many fouls. The Premier League is more exciting than anywhere else I have played and it's always a battle because it is so physical."
Suarez is expected to line up for the Reds as they take on arch rivals Manchester United in Saturday's lunchtime Premier League kickoff.
