Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has said that he is "very happy" to have scored his first goal for the club since his £34m summer move from Southampton.
The 24-year-old broke the deadlock after just 15 minutes of this afternoon's friendly with Barcelona at Wembley, setting Liverpool on their way to a convincing 4-0 win over the Spanish giants.
Divock Origi and Marko Grujic also got their names on the scoresheet, alongside a Javier Mascherano own goal, and Mane was in good spirits after the penultimate pre-season match.
"I'm very happy to score my first goal, especially in front of the amazing fans in Wembley Stadium," he told FA TV.
"It is also important for us to score for the team, especially strikers. Everyone likes to score for their team, and I did today. I'm happy also for Origi and Marko to score for the team. I think everybody is happy."
Liverpool will take on Mainz on Sunday before opening their new Premier League campaign away to Arsenal next weekend.
